At our organic farm Residence Hausergut, you will experience a fully eco-friendly holiday in the heart of the Vinschgau Valley. As a certified Bioland member in South Tyrol, we are dedicated to holistic organic farming and a sustainable lifestyle.
Premium Organic Hay Milk & Aromatic Organic Apples of Superior Quality
In the private orchards surrounding our farm, we cultivate premium organic apples, including the varieties Bonita, Gala, Topaz, Pinova, Jonagold and Cosmic Crisp®.
Our meadows are managed completely naturally, without any chemical-synthetic pesticides or artificial fertilizers. Our cows are fed exclusively on fresh grass and hay. This nutrient-rich forage forms the basis for our premium organic hay milk. Driven by our deep conviction, we strictly avoid the use of silage.
Responsibility for Nature and the Environment
For many years, we have been covering the energy and resource requirements of our farm and eco-friendly holiday apartments entirely from alternative sources. To achieve this, we use our own photovoltaic system for eco-friendly power and an on-farm wood-chip heating system for heat production – CO₂-neutral and powered by green electricity.
In our daily routines, we actively practice environmental protection through strict waste separation and the exclusive use of organic cleaning agents for our thorough steam cleaning.

A rich selection of genuine farm products awaits you directly at our agriturismo in the Vinschgau Valley. You can taste them on-site, purchase them as a culinary souvenir to take home, or order them for your personal breakfast basket.
For the production of our organic apples and organic hay milk, we completely avoid chemical-synthetic pesticides and artificial fertilizers. This results in natural, flavor-rich products: sustainable, regional, and 100% home-grown.

Thanks to the Reschensee Guest Pass, which you will receive free of charge upon arrival, you can enjoy unlimited travel on the Vinschgau Valley train and all public transport in South Tyrol. This allows you to explore our region comfortably, flexibly, and sustainably – completely without a car.
If you choose to travel by public transport for your journey here, we will gladly send you the Reschensee Guest Pass in advance. This ensures a relaxed and eco-friendly travel experience straight to Schluderns.

How is organic and sustainable farming implemented on the organic farm?
As a certified Bioland member, we at Residence Hausergut Organic Farm are committed to a holistic and sustainable way of living and farming. For many years, we have covered our farm’s energy and resource needs using alternative sources. We operate our own photovoltaic system (PV system) to generate environmentally friendly electricity and use a woodchip heating plant on the farm to provide sustainable heat.
Which organic products are produced directly on the farm?
On the farm, we offer a wide selection of our own organic products: fresh milk, eggs, yogurt made from our own production, alpine cheese, honey, homemade vinegar and apple juice, homemade fruit spreads, as well as herbs from our garden. You can also look forward to seasonal specialties.
Can farm-produced products be tasted and purchased directly on the farm?
Yes, you will already find our farm’s organic products in your breakfast basket. In addition, all products can be purchased directly on the farm.

In everyday life, we actively practice environmental protection through consistent waste separation and the exclusive use of biological cleaning products for our thorough steam cleaning.
Can I spend my holiday at Residence Hausergut without a car?
Yes, a car-free holiday at Residence Hausergut is easily possible. Upon arrival, you will receive the Reschensee Guest Pass free of charge, which allows you to use the Vinschger railway as well as all public transport throughout South Tyrol free of charge for the entire duration of your stay. Please feel free to contact us in advance if you would like to use the card for your environmentally friendly arrival by train.
