Yes, our guests are warmly invited to experience farm life up close and take an active part in it. You are welcome to watch us during our daily work in the barn, including milking and feeding the animals, harvest fresh herbs from our herb garden, and taste our own organic farm products directly on site.

As a certified Bioland member, we at Residence Hausergut Organic Farm are committed to a holistic and sustainable way of living and farming. For many years, we have covered our farm’s energy and resource needs using alternative sources. We operate our own photovoltaic system (PV system) to generate environmentally friendly electricity and use a woodchip heating plant on the farm to provide sustainable heat.

The organic farm Residence Hausergut in Schluderns can be reached conveniently by car via the Reschen Pass Road or the MeBo expressway. Alternatively, you can travel comfortably and environmentally friendly by the Vinschgau Railway to the nearby Schluderns train station, or by plane via Bolzano Airport or the airports of Innsbruck and Verona. We also offer a pick-up service from Schluderns train station.

The nearest bus stop, “Sludernos, Sports area”, is only about 350 metres from our property, while the train station of Sluderno is approximately 1 kilometre away. The nearest airports are Bolzano Airport (about 80 km), Innsbruck Airport (about 140 km), Verona Airport (about 225 km), and Munich Airport (about 270 km).

Yes, there are ample free parking spaces available directly at the Residence. In addition, we also offer the possibility to park trailers

Are there any areas of the farm that guests are not allowed to enter?
Yes, for safety reasons and to protect the animals, we kindly ask that you only enter the barns on our organic farm when accompanied by us. During our shared barn time or as part of a farm tour, we will be happy to show you and your children everything up close.
Are there any recommendations on how guests should behave during daily farm life?
Yes, the well-being of our animals and a respectful relationship with nature are very important to us at Residence Hausergut Organic Farm. To ensure a pleasant and harmonious stay for everyone, we kindly ask our guests to observe the following guidelines:
- Interaction with animals: Please approach our farm animals calmly and carefully at all times. Although they are accustomed to people, they may still be startled easily. Therefore, we kindly ask you to avoid loud noises near the animals.
- Resources in the apartment: In keeping with our sustainable philosophy, we greatly appreciate careful waste separation in the holiday apartments as well as a conscious and non-wasteful use of food and other resources.

Yes, upon request, we are happy to offer personal farm tours at our Hausergut Organic Farm. We will personally guide you around the farm and provide fascinating insights into our daily life, the cultivation of our organic apples, the production of organic hay milk, and our sustainable farming practices.

The apple harvest at our organic farm takes place in autumn and traditionally lasts from the end of August to the end of October. Since the exact start and duration strongly depend on the weather conditions in the Vinschgau Valley, the precise period may vary slightly from year to year

At our Residence Hausergut organic farm, you can enjoy a fully environmentally friendly holiday in the Vinschgau Valley. Your apartment is heated CO₂-neutral using our on-site woodchip heating system and supplied with green electricity from our photovoltaic system. In addition, you can enjoy 100% organic farm products and travel completely car-free and in an environmentally friendly way throughout South Tyrol thanks to the free Reschensee Guest Pass.
In everyday life, we actively practice environmental protection through consistent waste separation and the exclusive use of biological cleaning products for our thorough steam cleaning.
Can I spend my holiday at Residence Hausergut without a car?
Yes, a car-free holiday at Residence Hausergut is easily possible. Upon arrival, you will receive the Reschensee Guest Pass free of charge, which allows you to use the Vinschger railway as well as all public transport throughout South Tyrol free of charge for the entire duration of your stay. Please feel free to contact us in advance if you would like to use the card for your environmentally friendly arrival by train.

How are the holiday apartments equipped?
All holiday apartments are modern and comfortably equipped and feature a kitchen-living area with a partly extendable sofa, a balcony with a view of the Ortler, a bathroom with shower, underfloor heating and hairdryer, free Wi-Fi, a safe, and satellite TV, as well as bed linen and towels. The Golden apartment is located on the ground floor and has a large terrace.
Are the kitchens fully equipped?
Yes, all holiday apartments feature fully equipped kitchen areas with a ceramic hob, fridge with freezer compartment, dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine (filter and moka pot), kettle, toaster (on request), as well as crockery, glasses, cooking utensils, cutlery, dishwashing liquid, and tea towels. In addition, you will find salt, pepper, organic apple vinegar, and oil in the apartments

The famous Vinschgau cycling route Via Claudia Augusta passes directly by our house and invites you to enjoy relaxed cycling tours along the Adige River or more challenging mountain bike trails and tours up to the Stilfserjoch Pass. From your holiday apartment, you can also start unique hikes directly, such as the Schluderns Waalwege trails, the Sonnensteig, or the idyllic Biotope Trail, with the beautiful local recreation area located right next to the farm.

No, there is no direct ski bus stop at Residence Hausergut. However, thanks to our central location, you can reach the bus stops and the train station in the village centre of Schluderns within a few minutes on foot.
Are there cross-country ski trails in the area?
Yes, within about a 20-minute drive you can reach excellent cross-country ski trails in Schlinig, the Nordic skiing centre in Sulden am Ortler, as well as the trails in the Matscher Valley and the adjacent Val Müstair.

The price of your stay at Residence Hausergut includes a free bread roll service, bed linen and towels, electricity and heating, free Wi-Fi throughout the house, use of the bicycle garage, the on-site playground, and your parking space directly at the accommodation. In addition, you can order a breakfast basket with our farm-produced products for an extra charge.
Are the stated prices per person or per holiday apartment?
The stated prices are per holiday apartment per night for 2 people, excluding the local tax, for a stay of 7 nights. For each additional person, we charge from €15.00 per night

What are the cancellation conditions for a booking?
At Residence Hausergut, the following cancellation conditions apply:
- Up to 3 months before arrival: free cancellation (except for the deposit already paid)
- 3 months to 6 weeks before arrival: 50% of the total price
- 6 weeks to 2 weeks before arrival: 80% of the total price
- Less than 2 weeks before arrival: 100% of the total price
- The deposit paid is non-refundable in case of cancellation.
In case of no-show or early departure, the full booking amount will be charged. Please inform us in good time if you are unable to travel.
We recommend taking out travel cancellation insurance
Is a deposit required?
Yes, to confirm your booking, a deposit payment via bank transfer is required. You will receive further information about this in your individual holiday offer
How much is the local tax per person per night?
The local tax is €3.80 (3 stars) and €3.30 (2 stars) per person per night (from 14 years of age) and is charged separately on site.
Which payment methods are accepted on site?
On site, you can settle your bill in cash or via online bank transfer.
Is there a fixed arrival and departure day??
No, you can plan your arrival and departure flexibly; arrival is possible on any day. During the high season, we prefer arrivals and departures on Saturdays and Sundays. Please note that check-in on Sundays is only possible by prior arrangement or from 6:00 PM onwards. Please let us know your expected arrival time.
Is there a minimum length of stay
Yes, at Residence Hausergut a minimum stay of 4 nights is required in the low season and 7 nights in the high season. Shorter stays are only possible on request and by prior arrangement. Please contact us for this.
Can an existing booking be changed afterwards?
Is the residence suitable for groups?
Are dogs or pets allowed on the organic farm?
No, dogs and other pets are not allowed at Residence Hausergut organic farm due to our own farm animals. Thank you for your understanding
Can surprises for special occasions (e.g. cake or flowers) be arranged?
Is there a laundry and ironing service?
Yes, upon request and for a fee we offer a laundry service and we are also happy to provide an ironing board and iron.
Is there a baby cot for the holiday apartments?
Yes, baby cots as well as bed guards for children’s beds are available on request.
Are high chairs available at the property?

Is there a baby monitor service?
No, there is no dedicated baby monitor service at Residence Hausergut. However, as all apartments have stable free Wi-Fi, you can easily use your own baby monitor apps via your smartphone.
